And now coming to today’s recipe, Jam Butter Cookies, which is very very tasty and crispy…

INGREDIENTS
Maida/ APF – 3/4 Cup
Corn flour – 1/4 Cup
Powder sugar – 1/3 Cup minus 2 Tbsp
Butter – 1/4 Cup (Room Temperature)
Milk – 2 Tbsp
Vanilla essence – 1 Tsp


METHOD 

  • Preheat the oven @ 180 C for 10 minutes.
  • Take a wide mixing bowl add powder sugar and butter and beat it till fluffy and creamy and add vanilla essence and mix it once.
  • Now add maida, corn flour mix it well and add enough milk to get the creamy consistency. 
  • If you are using piping bag press it like cookies shapes or take the batter in 1 Tbsp of dough and flatten it and press with fork and keep it in greased baking tray. 
  • Now bake it for 15 minutes and cool it completely. 
  • Now keep the jam in the center of the cookies and keep the other cookies over it and press it slightly…

  • Serve it with Tea/Coffee..

CHOCO NAN KHATAI/INDIAN BUTTER BISCUIT

Hi friends, nowadays I love to bake many cakes and cookies… Don’t know the reason but I love to bake more than cooking… I love biscuits all the time but after I start to bake, we won’t buy any cakes n cookies from bakery… Yes!!Except puffs but am sure I get confidence to bake puffs too… n today I have planned to post Nan Khatai which is chocolate version, I prepared the nan khatai from one of my sweetest friend Priya Ranjit (Doll) from Cook Like Priya…
I already did ordinary nan khatai and posted on my blog in the name of  Melting Cookies – Low Fat Version… But I did not used butter for that cookies, I have used vegetable oil instead of butter but no compromise with the taste of it…. N I prepared this cookies as gift, me n my mom were planned to go our cousin home so I baked these both cookies and gave it to them the yummy cookies n they also not miss to praise the cookies n me too:)

My Alteration in the Recipe

  • But I used powdered sugar/Icing sugar instead of granulated Sugar (Coz I did not noticed her Note..)
  • I have used Baking powder and vanilla essence… 


INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour/Maida – 1/2 Cup minus 1 Tbsp
Icing sugar/Powdered sugar – 1/3 Cup
Instant coffee powder – 1/4 Tsp (Nescafe Gold)
Coco powder – 1 Tbsp
Melted butter – 3 Tbsp
Baking Powder – 1/8 Tsp
Vanilla Essence – 1/8 Tsp

METHOD

  • Pre heat oven to 180 C/350 F. 
  • Take a mixing bowl add maida, powder sugar/Icing sugar, instant coffee powder, coco powder and vanilla essence mix it once. 
  • Grease the baking pan with butter and dust with flour.
  • Now add melted butter to the mixture and mix it till u can make firm balls with the dough.
  • To get even sized cookies take the dough in a 1 Tbsp size and roll them into balls and press it lightly and place them on the baking tray and top it with cashew and just press slightly.
  • Now place the baking tray in the oven and bake for 10 minutes, take them out and let it cool down completely. 

  • Serve it with hot drinks/ pack it for your friends/guest/relatives….

MILK POWDER PEDA – 100th POST

Hi friends, Today I am so happy!!! You know WHY??? Its my 100th post!!! Actually I have to cross this before itself but due to frequent power cut I could not do it… Finally am here with my 100th Post…

Thank you all my sweet friends for your beloved supports and comments… Please continue with the same to me… Ok! Now I posting Milk Powder Peda, Yeah! I love milk sweets much much much better than any other sweets… So here I give visual treat to you all with this simple and delicious Milk Powder Peda…  Have it dearies!!!

INGREDIENTS 
Butter – 3.5 Tbsp
Milk Powder – 4.5 Tbsp(I used HATSUN Milk powder – 25grams)
Condensed Milk – 50 Ml (10 Tsp)
Cardamom – 5 
Almonds grated – few


METHOD


  • Melt butter in a heavy bottom pan in low flame.
  • Add milk powder and milk maid in the pan and stir well for 1 minute.
  • Add cardamom powder to it and stir well for 1 minute and switch off the flame.
  • After nicely mixing take out from the pan and keep it in a bowl.
  • Grease a plate and keep it ready and make small balls and flat it like in the picture.
  • Now arrange in a greased plate and garnish with almonds.
  • Serve hot or cold.
SO YUMMY N DELICIOUS PEDA FOR U ALL!!!
NOTE
  • Garnish with Pistachios, almonds and cashew nuts.
  • You can store this for 3-4 days.
  • It will bit sticky while warm after cooling it will be in nice texture.
  • Actually it will be in white color but in my case milk powder slightly roasted in a butter that’s why this color, but taste was so so so delicious.
